Description
We are seeking a proactive Product Specialist to oversee the sales performance, market development, and training needs of assigned OEM brands within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will serve as the key resource on the brand’s technical and commercial aspects, working closely with sales, technical, and customer service teams to promote growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and drive sales performance of the assigned OEM brand(s).
- Provide product knowledge support and technical expertise to the sales team.
- Plan and coordinate internal and external product training sessions.
- Work closely with the inventory team to ensure proper stock levels and forecast demand.
- Liaise with the OEM or suppliers for updates, documentation, pricing, and technical support.
- Track customer feedback and usage trends to improve brand positioning.
- Support the marketing team with product-focused content and campaigns.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of industrial products, preferably in electrical, mechanical, or automation categories.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret technical data and product literature.
- Strong teamwork and coordination abilities across departments.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of ERP/CRM tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HND/B.Sc. in Engineering, Sciences, or related technical field.
- 2–4 years experience in technical sales, product management, or OEM brand handling.
- Familiarity with OEMs like ABB, Siemens, SKF, Schneider Electric, etc.
- Prior experience in MRO/Industrial B2B environment is an added advantage.
